Næstved's 875th anniversary

2010 is the year Næstved celebrates its 875th anniversary. This is an event that all citizens of the area can look forward to, regardless of age. The anniversary will be a celebration for the people and will last the whole year. A plethora of events and happenings will be available to enjoy either actively or from the sidelines.

The anniversary date itself is June 15^th and on this day, you can join in on celebrating the city’s long history along with your fellow citizens, or if you visit as a tourist you are welcome to join in on the fun and help us make it a memorable occasion.
